Buono`s Pizza in Mesa

Pizza is firm, thick. My particular favorite is the wings. Crisp and flavorful!

Used to be boneless Pizza. Someone else bought it and failed. Now it's back to the buonos owners and they make absolutely the best white pizza that there is. If you want a hell of a treet go simple, tell them half white and half red those flavors will make up for the other add-ons that you were going to put on. Enjoy!

We enjoyed going to eat there all the time because the food was good. We always had good service. Last 2 times we went, the food was not good and poor service. The sausage roll was very doughy and the other sausage roll had no sausage in it. They re-made the sausage roll. The calzone hardly had stuffing in it but didn't offer to make a new one. We notice on the bill, we were over charged. It makes me think all the other times we just paid the bill and never even look at what we were getting charge for.We were very disappointed.

This is a nice little pizzeria. The crust is great with a small crunch and a little chewiness. They always have great customer service.

Hot and delicious, New York style pizza with a taste of Italy. The garlic knots were not tough, and the salad was fresh.

Great little family owned restaurant in a strip mall in Mesa. We visited Amici's while in town for Spring Training and found this place to be clean, welcoming, friendly and their NY style pizza was excellent. My husband is from NY so knows the real thing when he tastes it and this definitely was it. The family is Sicilian, from Staten Island, and they even import black and white cookies from Queens! If you know what those are, this is where you can find them. Give Amici's a try, you won't be disappointed🍕

Great crust, sauce and great customer service

Love this place. I'm from Jersey and very picky with my pizza. I love the cannoli and they have even made me Stromboli just like back home. I'm confused how this place doesn't have 5 stars. I try to eat here once a week and 95% of the time the food is amazing. And the few times it hasn't been they are happy to remake it or get me something else. No place is ever perfect. I usually get a ham calzone or a pizza with meatball and olives. Give it a try if you like real NY style pizza.

This place is SERIOUSLY AfreakingMAZING!! To any New Yorker looking to find the taste of home, come to this place! Wonderful owner, Vinny really loves what he does. He puts much love into each and every slice. Actually, you can just tell that everyone who works there is committed and loyal to both the food and the customers.

Pretty good upside Sicilian pizza, everything was perfect for the pie, except I asked for extra cheese, the sauce it's self was right for the pizza, the crust texture was not doughy, it was just baked right. I recommend this pizza joint to anyone.

Delicious pizza at a great cost from friendly staff at a clean restaurant what else could I ask for. The crust was perfect, not too thick and not too thin it was just right.

Great find, fresh salad with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives and roasted red peppers. Home made meatballs that were perfect, seasoned just right, the spaghetti sauce was fresh homemade and the pizza we chose was the NY style. Will go back, the lemon cake and the NY style Black and White cookie was the perfect end to a delicious meal. Staff were friendly and quick, loved it is a family owned restaurant.

So glad the original recipe and Jimmy and family are back! This is true New York pizza that is hands down the best in the valley!

When I came to the resturant exactly at 11:20 am, I was greet from the door. The pizza are fantastic, the environment is great, and the employees are great. This resturant is the best pizza that I ever have. Will come back in the near future. Thanks guys

Was there many years ago when original owners... Buenos... Did not disappoint. Was delicious definitely will come back.

The food is here is great, but since reopening for dining the staff is not wearing any masks or gloves to protect against COVID. Makes me a little nervous.

Just get back in town from ocean city New Jersey trip. We were missing the real pizza from there so we came here cuz this place has the authentic taste. Ever since the original people opened this place back up it has been awesome. Great quality. Happy every time we come in. Just what I wanted. When it’s good all you need is cheese. If you want authentic New York / New Jersey style pizza come here.

I highly recommend this place if you looking for a legitimate east coast pizza experience Had grandmas thin crust with chicken and extra garlic...outstanding!!!! Vinnie pulled the Pizza at the perfect time.... crust was literally the best I've had in years!!! OK.....Buonos has good NY Style pizza and good service but did you really charge me $5 for this salad?!? With the money I paid I could have bought 2 bags of Caesar Salad with croutons, cheese and dressing at Frys. I know where I won't be getting a salad from. Wow is all I have to say.

I ordered pizza slice with salad. Salad was fresh and house dressing great! The pizza was good not great. Didn't have much cheese on it but the sauce was very good. Service was great

As soon as I tasted Buono's Pizza, I knew I would be going back. I may be a little biased when it comes to pizzas. I prefer thin slices, melty cheese and a little greasy. I grew up on Ray's Pizza and Brother's Pizza, and that type of New York Style pizza is my absolute favorite! This location also has amazing specials, on Saturdays they have a 18" pepperoni pizza for only $13.50 after tax! No one can beat that deal! Along with that, they have deals on salads, combos, amongst other just as great deals. I definitely recommend Buono's!Update (1/23/19):The new remodel looks amazing! The prices did go up for the pizza, and the specials aren't as great as before; however I will still recommend this place!

Great prices. Wings were really good. Pizza felt like it needed something. So I added ranch and it tasted better with ranch. Glad the pizza wasn’t so thin. You can get pizza by the slice! The garlic knots were okay felt like it needed something too. Had to dip in the marina more. But liked how hot and fresh the garlic knots are. My brother got the Italian sub.

Oh man! Amici Pizza is seriously my favorite pizza place around. I love their caprese salads, pizza, and garlic knots. The best part about their food is whether you dine in or take out, their food is always good. We used Amici Pizza to cater one of our work events and they did such a great job. Everything was ready to go when needed and the management there is superb. I love that it's a family owned business providing quality pizza. If you haven't tried this place, what are you waiting for? It's amazing!!!
